In yesterday’s episode of the Ellen Degeneres Show, guests Justin Bieber and James Blunt and Ellen herself tried to give their own spins to “Born this Way”, the as-of-yet unreleased new single from Lady Gaga. Since no one has heard the track before except for the song’s lyrics, the three tried to come up with their own melodies to give the audiences a “sneak preview” of the single.

Bieber’s version was “certainly the most melodic of three” as Ellen would put it, after Blunt’s version simply sounded like a sampling of his hit “You’re Beautiful” while singing to Gaga’s words instead. “No you’ve just changed the key, that’s still your song, ‘You’re Beautiful’”, Bieber commented, to which Blunt joked, “Hey listen kid I’ve been doing this for years, I know what I’m doing”.

As fans of Justin Bieber around the world know by now, Justin will returning in February to CSI.

George Eads, who stars in the role of Nick Stokes on CBS’ hit crime show, says Bieber has consistently impressed him. He is a very cool kid, Eads said at an Entertainment Weekly pre-party for the SAG Awards in West Hollywood. He is in the center of a hurricane. He handles himself very well I think. We had lots of very intense scenes together and got along very well. I really have a lot of respect for the kid.

In terms of his acting Eads said he has lots to learn still. However, it was fine in terms of what he was there for. This isn’t “Gone With the Wind” you know. It’s CSI. He had four to five lines. This isn’t a Rubik’s Cube.

If singer Justin Bieber thought he could roam around a mall without being mobbed, then he thought wrong.

According to the website Monsters and Critics, on Boxing Day, Canada’s bank holiday on December 26, Biebs went out at a local mall to shop, hopefully in anonymity but not for long though. Just minutes later, the sixteen year old singer was recognized – probably by his hair – and was swarmed by hundreds of chaotic female fans.

The police had to be called in to take the singer away from the stampede of screaming and chasing fans. Had the police arrived a minute later, it would have been impossible for Bieber to exit the mall alive and whole.
