According to Soundscan, My World, the debut album of Justin Bieber, is making history as 2009′s Top New Artist Debut. In addition, the singer from Canada and teenage heart throb is the first solo musical artist in history to get four different songs- “Favorite Girl,” “Love Me,” “One Less Lonely Girl,” and “Lone Time,” on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts prior to the release of the album.

The year for Bieber has been a very eventful one. He started the year off creating his own buzz online by posting videos of himself covering Stevie Wonder and Usher songs. Since that time Bieber’s YouTube channel has gone over the 100 million mark for video views. My World Part II will be released by Bieber in March 2010.

Currently Bieber is on a tour in Europe with Taylor Swift.
