Justin Bieber’s power knows no limit. He might have saved “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” from MTV by uttering a few words.

TV Guide is reporting that the decision made by the network to renew another 12 episodes of the series came after the rise in ratings following a tweet made by Bieber endorsing the show.

On July 19 Bieber tweeted that he had met the creators of the new MTV show and that they were good dudes and that the show was funny stuff.

The ratings that night had a 9 percent increase. The next week the ratings went up another 14 percent over the episode prior to Bieber’s tweet.

David Katzenberg, executive producer and co-creator, seemed grateful to Bieber for any role he had in helping to get the show renewed. He told TV Guide, the show is word of mouth. Right now kids aren’t in school to talk about it. For us that’s been a problem. However the fans of Justin Bieber are incredibly loyal. It seems to be rubbing off for our show.
