British singer and former ‘The X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole is heavily working on her third studio set, and she seriously wants to break in the US market as she already has chart topping producer and Black Eyed Peas member Will.I.Am onboard for the album, and now, coming off the heels of their recent national TV flirtation on ‘The X Factor’, she is also looking to sign Justin Bieber for a song or two in the upcoming effort.
Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, is said to be in “in deep talks” with Cole’s camp for a collaboration which is set to appear in the female singer’s third release. The former Girls Aloud lead singer envisions her new solo album to feature hits that are of the same caliber as let’s say, ‘O.M.G’ by Will.I.Am and Usher. An insider was quoted in saying, “Usher and Will got together to make O.M.G – just think what they could do with their proteges.”
Cole has been spending more and more time in New York to record material for the album. Expect it to have more than a hint of hip-hop and R&B as she is often seen with producer Alex Da Kid, and if rumors are to be believed, it seems that the two might be making sweet body bumping music in and out of the recording studio.
