Spoilers Spill Out on Justin Bieber’s Return to ‘CSI’

Posted by Deena Edison On January - 30 - 2011

As fans of Justin Bieber around the world know by now, Justin will returning in February to CSI.

George Eads, who stars in the role of Nick Stokes on CBS’ hit crime show, says Bieber has consistently impressed him.  He is a very cool kid, Eads said at an Entertainment Weekly pre-party for the SAG Awards in West Hollywood.  He is in the center of a hurricane.  He handles himself very well I think.  We had lots of very intense scenes together and got along very well.  I really have a lot of respect for the kid.

In terms of his acting Eads said he has lots to learn still.  However, it was fine in terms of what he was there for.  This isn’t “Gone With the Wind” you know.  It’s CSI.  He had four to five lines.  This isn’t a Rubik’s Cube.

Justin will be returning in February, a few days following the release of his movie to theaters.  During his debut episode he played a young boy whose older brother is killed.

Eads said laughing, one of the crew guys said, man you will be splitting the country right down the middle, with half of them loving you and half of them hating you.

Eads, in other words, kills Bieber’s character.

When asked how he felt killing the most famous sixteen year old in the world Eads said, within the story’s context, he deserved it.  I think it was my fault in a way too, for Taylor Swift being killed.  There’s lots of people I need to avoid.  Somebody tell Miley Cyrus she shouldn’t come onto the show.

On Sunday Justin Bieber will be making a surprise special appearance on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” ABC’s feel-good show.  The singer in the episode meets the Browns from Wellman, Texas.  The family is working to raise awareness about how dangerous texting and driving can be after Alex, their oldest daughter, was impacted by it.

According to AceShowBiz.com, the episode was filmed in November.  Bieber in the show not only pledges his support for the cause, he also makes the day for Katrina Brown and friends by sharing some time one-on-one with them.

Bieber told the Browns, I’m very happy you guys can make it.  Every night we will be having a banner go up with the saying “don’t text and drive” on it.  Every night all the kids will see it.  This is very meaningful for me as well, Bieber told the Browns.  For each ticket that is sold we will give $1 to your cause.  Something I also do is a sound-check party.  I want to invite all of you to come join us and hang out.

During the two hour episode’s preview clip Katrina admits she didn’t know what she should do.  The show also features NASCAR drivers Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards along with Emma Roberts.  She said, I really didn’t know how I should react.

In addition Bieber opened up more about why he had joined the cause.  He explained, it has been a really important thing in life for me to convince others not to text while driving.  Every night that I perform there is a video that plays that says don’t text while driving.  It shows me driving.  That’s very important to me.

Reportedly the encounter will be featured on the upcoming “Never Say Never” as well Bieber’s forthcoming 3D flick.  In a trailer that was released earlier in the month Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, shared show fortunate he fells.  The “Extreme Home Makeover” guy and me have the world’s best jobs, said Braun in the clip.  Actually it’s what makes the job most gratifying.  The little things really do go a long way.  We get paid to help make people happy.

Other pop stars besides Bieber are working for the causes as well.  The Jonas Brothers also are spokesmen for “X the Text,” Allstate’s campaign.  In August Kevin Jonas informed MTV News that they were part of Allstate’s campaign X the Text.  It’s amazing, Jonas said.  There are so many drivers and teen drivers out having accidents from texting while they are driving.  Bringing aware to this is a great thing.

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga Songs Added to ‘Glee’ Playlist

Posted by Deena Edison On January - 10 - 2011

According to Ryan Murphy, “Glee” co-creator, the upcoming single of Lady Gaga’s called “Born This Way” is going to be performed during an episode of “Glee” that will be airing in either March or April.  Gaga is schedule to debut her new song, which is the title track from her forthcoming album, in February during the Grammy Awards show.

Murphy describes “Born This Way” as an anthem.  The song will be featured during an episode that focuses on Dave Karofsky, who earlier this season bullied one of the gay students.  In terms of the details, Murphy was vague.  However he promised the character would have a happy ending.

In other news from “Glee,” the show is going to feature their first performance soon of a song by Justin Bieber.  So far, the specific song hasn’t been announced.  However it has been confirm that Chord Overstreet, one of the “Glee” cast members, will be singing the song to his girlfriend during an episode scheduled for a spring debut.

Last week there were rumors that there was a whole episode centered on Bieber in the works.  However Murphy says there isn’t enough Bieber material for a full episode.  Those episodes are reserved for performing artists that have big catalogs like Britney Spears and Madonna.

Kanye West to Produce on Next Justin Bieber Album?

Posted by Deena Edison On January - 7 - 2011

Justin Bieber may be busy tackling his “My World” tour, but he also has his hands full on some new and quality material for his new LP, and we meant it when we say “quality material”.

Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, tells the press that the 16-year old pop star is in constant talks with Grammy Award winning rapper and fellow Canadian Drake and R&B/hip-hop star Chris Brown, who has “been sending stuff back and forth” with the Biebs.

And just recently, it has been disclosed that Bieber will also be collaborating with critically acclaimed and chart topping country trio Rascal Flatts for a single in the former’s upcoming set.

The controversial and volatile yet talented Kanye West, who has previously worked with Bieber for the single “Runaway Love” which appeared in the latter’s current release, has once again offered his music expertise to the young singer, as he intends to produce “a bunch of songs” for Justin.

Meanwhile, the “U Smile” singer’s love life has recently taken a new turn when pictures of him and Disney star and fellow singer Selena Gomez have run wild online and speculations of the two being an item are the constant subject of celebrity chatter. But if it were to Braun, he’d rather have his client remain single and available as he “shouldn’t be in a relationship” – for now at least – while his career is on a roll.
