The show this year was opened with a medley from Rihanna.  It included her hit songs “Only Girl In The World,” “What’s My Name,” and “Love the Way You Lie (Part II).”  “Fireworks” was sang by Katy Perry and “Express” was performed by Christina Aguilera from her upcoming movie “Burlesque” which co-stars Cher.  Other performers on the night included Usher, Ke$sha, Pink and Bieber.

Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block shared the stage to close out the show.  Next year the two groups will be touring together.

AMA winners, for the fourth time, were determined by online voting by the public.

Bieber Fever Jumps the Pond for UK Tour Dates

Next year Justin Bieber mania will be hitting the U.K.  The young Canadian singing sensation confirmed he will be performing in the U.K. during the same week of Prince William’s announcement that he and Kate Middleton are getting married.

The world renowned Bieber, who has captured many young girls hearts in North America already, appears as though he will doing the same soon in the UK.  On March 4 he will kick off the first leg on his U.K. with two nights in Birmingham.

Then he will head to Liverpool for a March 11 performance.  Fans are promising Bieber a reception that is extra special in Beatle mania country.  The thought is that Liverpool hasn’t experienced anything quite like this since they performed at The Cavern those many years ago.

In addition to the many U.K.  fans of Bieber’s, it is thought many of his fans from North America will use his tour as an excuse to vacation in the U.K.  On March 12 Bieber will perform at Metro Arena in Newcastle.

Following a short break, where he will undoubtedly be heavily promoting “My Words-The Collection,” his new album, Bieber will perform in London on March 14 and 16 at London 02.  He will then wrap up the trek in Manchester on March 20 and 21.

Justin Bieber Injures Knee at Cleveland Concert

Posted by Deena Edison On November - 12 - 2010

On Thursday night Justin Bieber suffered a knee injury while performing in Cleveland on his latest tour stop.  Initial reports described it as a minor injury.

Reportedly Bieber hurt his knee during the middle of concert at Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University but continued performing.  Bieber said, my knee got twisted pretty bad.

The singer’s rep said, last night Justin was spotted limping onstage.  However, he was able to finish the set.  We hope it’s only a bad sprain.

Reportedly shortly after he wrapped his show up, Bieber headed right over to the tour bus so he could rest.  The next concert for Bieber is scheduled for Norfolk Scope Arena on Saturday.

It isn’t the first injury Bieber has suffered while performing.  Last year at about this time, Bieber broke his foot while performing in London while opening for Taylor Swift, fellow superstar, at Wembley Arena.

At the time he tweeted about his injury.  He said, during “One Time,” the last song, I tripped on something onstage while going down the ramp.  My ankle rolled pretty bad.  It turned out that my foot got fractured and I had to finish that song with a broken foot.

So far Justin hasn’t sent any tweets regarding his latest injury.

The good news for Bieber is “Pray,” his new single, was released on November 12 to the internet.  The song is the only track that is new on “My Worlds Acoustic,” his newest release due out November 26.

Justin Bieber Wraps Up Two EMA Awards

Posted by Deena Edison On November - 7 - 2010

Justin Bieber earlier that night lost out to Ke$sha as Best New Act at MTV’s 2010 Europe Music Awards.  However he redeemed himself by winning Best Male, beating out veterans like Kanye West, Enrique Iglesias, Eminem and Usher, his mentor.

Bieber accepted his award from Emily Osment, “Hannah Montana” star, via satellite as he was the digital host that night.  Dressed in a t-shirt and black leather jacket, Bieber told the Caja Magica crowd in Madrid, it’s amazing.  I don’t know even what to say.  All of the other artists I think in this category are inspirations of mine.  It’s such an honor winning this.  It is a great achievement.

Bieber wasn’t there, so they played the “Baby” video, reminding everybody why he won.  In addition Bieber was the Best Push Artist winner.

Bieber earlier this year won VMA’s Best New Artist.  Back in September the teen said wow, gasping after he made his way on stage.  Bieber said being a young Canadian kid that the honor had surprised him.  To me this means a lot, he said.  He gave shout outs to music industry executives and to Usher, his “big bro” for being his mentor, and to the fans and thanked everyone for being there.

Earlier on Sunday when Ke$ha went on stage during the EMA ceremony to accept her award as Best New Act, she thanked her fans for their help in beating B.oB., Jason Derulo and Bieber.  You guys, oh my god, I am going to pee my pants, Ke$sha said, as she clutched the award.  Thanks to all of my fans.  You are bad ass.  Also I want to thank my family and mom, Dr. Luke, RCA and everybody who has ever had faith in me.  However, without my beautiful, crazy, amazing fans I couldn’t have done this.  Thank you very much.  The reason I make music is for you.  Hopefully I can help inspire you and give the cynics the finger.  Be your f—ing self.  Thank you very much.
